- Galaxias tantangara Raadik, T.A. 2014. Fifteen from one: a revision of the Galaxias olidus Günther, 1866 complex (Teleostei, Galaxiidae) in south-eastern Australia recognises three previously described taxa and describes 12 new species. Zootaxa 3898(1): 1-198 [142, fig. 35].
Type data:
Holotype NMV A 30578-002 female, Tantangara Creek, tributary, above falls 200 m upstream of ford on Alpine Creek Fire Trail, Kosciuszko National Park, upstream of Tantangara Reservoir, NSW [35°50'23”S, 148°34'04”E].
Paratype(s) NMV A 30578-001 (11), collected with holotype; AM I.44917-001 (3), collected with holotype.
