• Galaxias oliros Raadik, T.A. 2014. Fifteen from one: a revision of the Galaxias olidus Günther, 1866 complex (Teleostei, Galaxiidae) in south-eastern Australia recognises three previously described taxa and describes 12 new species. Zootaxa 3898(1): 1-198 [111, figs 25, 26].

Widespread in the eastern section of the Murray River system and VIC tributaries from the Upper Murray Basin (ca. 36°03'S, 147°55'E), then south-westward through central Victoria to around Naracoorte, SA (ca. 37° 06' S, 141° 02'E), south of the Great Dividing Range in western VIC (ca. 38°S), also in several tributaries of the lower Murray River draining the eastern Mount Lofty Ranges (SA), absent from the Murray River main channel downstream from about Barmah to Mannum; temperate
