Extra Distribution Information

Coastal flowing streams and rivers east and south of the Great Dividing Range from Brisbane, QLD (27º36'S) to Doggerup Creek, south of Bridgetown, WA (34º05'S, 116º05´E), also becoming widespread in southern catchments of the mid-upper Murray River due to translocations, and from Flinders Island and King Island, Bass Strait and widespread at low elevations in TAS (43ºS), also at Lord Howe Island; temperate, southern circumglobal (excluding South Africa).
