East of Wallis Lake, NSW (32°24'S, 153°00'E) to northwest of Port Hedland, WA (18º40´S, 116°30'E) including TAS, also Lord Howe Rise, and recorded from Norfolk Ridge just south of Australian EEZ; tropical, temperate, east-Indo-west Pacific.
