Cockburn Sound, WA (32°10'S) to Gippsland Lakes, VIC (37°53'S) and from Cape Jervis (35°41'S, 138°12'E) to off Venus Bay (33°17'S, 134°36'E), SA, mostly absent from VIC and TAS; tropical, Indo-west Pacific.
