Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Jacksonia thesioides A.Cunn. ex Benth. [FABACEAE] Broombush (on flowers/foliage); Sida cordifolia L. [MALVACEAE] Flannel Weed (on flowers/foliage); Cantharospermum reticulatum (Aiton) Ewart & O.B.Davies [FABACEAE] (on flowers/foliage); Solanum lasiophyllum Dun. [SOLANACEAE] (on flowers/foliage)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Hawkeswood (1990) recorded adults on flowers of Atylosia reticulata (Fabaceae) and Sida cordifolia (Malvaceae).
