   Lectotype RMNH 7201 187 mm (type locality reported by Bleeker (1852) and Böhlke & Smith (2002) are two different locations), Wahai, northern Ceram and Padang, western Sumatra, Indonesia.
  Paralectotype(s) RMNH 7201 220 mm, same as Lectotype
  Comment: Bleeker specimen BMNH 1867.11.28.267 has no type status. See Böhlke & Smith (2002:145) for details of type designation.
