Type data:
Holotype ZIL 41535 (Depth 180-0m), south-west Pacific, near Phoenix Islands [7°58´S, 175°57´W].
Introduction
The species has not been confirmed form Australia. The only record was a questionable record in Parin & Pokhilsakaya (1974) from the Coral Sea. The species is known from off New Caledonia and is likely to occur in Australia.
