Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Xanthorrhoea preissii Endl. [XANTHORRHOEACEAE] Blackboy (on leaves); Xanthorrhoea spp. [XANTHORRHOEACEAE] (on leaves)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.
