Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Allocasuarina verticillata (Lam.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Drooping She-Oak (on foliage); Casuarina cunninghamiana Miq. [CASUARINACEAE] River She-Oak (on foliage); Tristaniopsis sp. [MYRTACEAE] (on foliage)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Some of the type series of C. scabiosa were recorded from Casuarina cunninghamiana, C. stricta and Tristaniopsis
