Ecological Descriptors
Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers)), volant.
Larva: wood-borer.
Extra Ecological Information
Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens and one unidentified Leptospermum sp.; Turner & Hawkeswood (1995) recorded this species, or one very close to it, from stem bases and roots of Dillwynia retorta.
