Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Acacia decurrens Willd. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle (on foliage); Acacia obtusifolia A.Cunn. [FABACEAE] Blunt leaf Wattle (on foliage); Acacia leiocalyx (Domin) Pedley [FABACEAE] Early Flowering Black Wattle (on foliage); Acacia pycnantha Benth. [FABACEAE] Golden Wattle (on foliage); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on foliage); Tephrosia astragaloides Benth. [FABACEAE] (on foliage)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia longifolia (Andrews) Willd. [FABACEAE] Sydney Golden Wattle).

Extra Ecological Information

Brooks (1948) recorded this species from flowers of Tephrosia astragaloides; Hawkeswood (1978) and Williams & Williams (1983) added Acacia decurrens, A. longifolia, A. obtusifolia and Leptospermum flavescens; Hawkeswood (1991) confirmed A. longifolia.
