     Holotype AM E.3508, edge of bank southwest off Eucla, WA, 80-120 fathoms.
    Paratype(s) AM E.2336-38 (1 specimen in each of three lots. Locality described by Whitley as "from the same locality [as holotype], or nearby, in 70-120 fathoms'), southwest off Eucla, WA, 70-120 fathoms; AM E.3506-07 (One specimen in each of two lots. Locality described by Whitley as "from the same locality [as holotype], or nearby, in 70-120 fathoms'), southwest off Eucla, WA, 70-120 fathoms; AM I.12320 (Locality described by Whitley as "from the same locality [as holotype], or nearby, in 70-120 fathoms'), southwest off Eucla, WA, 70-120 fathoms.
