Holotype whereabouts unknown, South Australia (as 'sur les côtes de la terre de Nyts')
Comment: MNHP B.1503–5044 often listed as syntypes, but Hardy (1981) suggested that the description was based on a single specimen, larger than the two specimens now labelled types.
