Introduction
This pale brown species is found from SE Queensland to SE Victoria. It fits into Viraktamath's (1998) picturata species group characterised by the presence of an accessory sclerite between the connective and the base of the aedeagus. Kirkaldy (1906) stated that the male was unknown and based his description on females. Zhang & Webb (1996) were unaware that Fletcher & Condello (1993) had designated a lectotype for the species and noted that they had examined syntype females without indicating the quantity. Fletcher & Semeraro (2007) also overlooked the lectotype designation (what a wally!) and recognised four syntypes, one of which was a male.
