Type data:
Holotype WAM P.3420, a small drain running into Marbellup Creek, Elleker, Albany, WA.
Paratype(s) AM IB.3197-98 (4), collected with Holotype
Comment: Shipway (1953) states that the species was described on the basis of 9 specimens: four appear to be lost.

Extra Distribution Information
South coast of WA from Albany (35ºS, 117º48'E) to Windy Harbour (34º48'S, 116º06'E), and north to Grimwade (33º42S, 116º06'E), with small populations near Bunbury, Ellenbrook and Muchea, WA, possibly more widespread along the southern coast of WA; temperate.
Australian Endemic.
