Introduction

This species was previously thought to be distributed to Western Australia and Norfolk Island. These records are now recognised as representing Alabes occidentalis in WA and Alabes springeri from Norfolk Island.

New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria


Extra Distribution Information

Point Cartwright (26°41'S), QLD to Flinders Island (134°22'E), SA and throughout coastal TAS, some records from SA may be based on Alabes occidentalis; temperate.

Australian Endemic.
