Introduction

Records of this species from the east coast are occasionally misidentified specimens of U. australiae.

Fremantle, WA (32°11'S) to Flinders Island, TAS (39°48'S), also Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea; tropical, Indo-west Pacific.
