Species Scomberesox saurus (Walbaum, 1792)

Introduction

The species is distributed worldwide, but antitropical. Many authors treat the southern circumglobal form as Scomberesox saurus scombroides and the northern form as Scomberesox saurus saurus following Hubbs & Wisner (1980).
