North West Cape, WA (21°47'S, 114°10'E) to Arlington Reef off Cairns, QLD (16°40, 146°05'E), also Rowley Shoals, WA (17°18'S, 119°22'E), Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea (12°14'S, 122°58'E), and Coral Sea Islands from Boot Reef (10°03'S, 144°42'E) to Lihou Reef (17°37'S, 151°26'E), also recorded from Capricorn Group, QLD, but no specimens known; tropical, Indo-west Pacific.
