Introduction

The species is absent between eastern Victoria and Kangaroo Island, SA, and the two forms may represent separate species (Gomon & Yearsley, 2008)

Wide Bay, QLD (25°52'S) to Montague Island, NSW (36°15'S) and Kangaroo Island, SA (137°50'E) to Legendre Island, WA (20°21'S), also Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island; temperate, south-west Pacific.
