Introduction
Ho & Johnson (2013) indicated that the records of P. macrophthalma from Australia were apparently based on an undescribed species; but subsequently determined to be P. muronis (see Johnson & Worthington Wilmer (2018).

West-southwest of Barrow Island (20°59’25”S, 114°43’44”E), northward to north-west of Cape Leveque (14°59’25.2”S, 121°39’09”E), other records from Australia based on misidentifications, particularly of P. flavolabiata; tropical, Indo-west Pacific.
