Off Narooma (36°09'S, 150°24'E) to Bermagui (36°25'S), NSW, west of King Island (39°51'S, 143°10'E), VIC, and west of Houtman Abrolhos Islands (29°00'S, 113°46'E), WA, probably a continuous distribution along the southern coast; temperate.

Australian Endemic.
