Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Allocasuarina littoralis (Salisb.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Black She-Oak (on foliage); Allocasuarina distyla (Vent.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Black Sheoak (on foliage); Allocasuarina verticillata (Lam.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Drooping She-Oak (on foliage); Allocasuarina nana (Sieber ex Spreng.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Dwarf She-Oak (on foliage); Allocasuarina littoralis (Salisb.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] (on foliage)), volant.

Larva: miner.

Extra Ecological Information

Hawkeswood (1978) listed this species from Casuarina littoralis and C. nana; Cowie (2001) recorded this species from Allocasuarina verticillata.

 

Note

The synonymy is doubtful without a complete revision of the genus.
