Extra Distribution Information
Rowley Shoals (17º30'S) to Scott Reef (13º54'S), WA, Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Indian Ocean, and Raine Island, QLD (11º36'S) and possibly south to Pompei Reefs (21º01'S) but based on visual records and the species can be confused with E. hexagonatus, also Ashmore Reef, Coral Sea; tropical, Indo-west-central Pacific.
