Introduction

This genus has been incorrectly spelled Caelorinchus by many authors following Eschmeyer (1990) and Sazonov and Iwamoto (1992), however the previous spelling Coelorinchus is now considered to be the correct one (see Iwamoto & Graham 2008).

Northwest of Port Hedland, WA (18°16'S, 118°12'E), to the Arafura Sea northeast of Cobourg Peninsula, NT (9°05´S, 133°05´E); tropical.

Australian Endemic.
