Introduction
This genus has been incorrectly spelled Caelorinchus by many authors following Eschmeyer (1990) and Sazonov and Iwamoto (1992), however the previous spelling Coelorinchus is now considered to be the correct one (see Iwamoto & Graham 2008).

Extra Distribution Information
West of Temma, TAS (41°13´S, 144°03´E) to west of Lancelin, WA (31°15´S, 114°52'E), records from NSW and eastern Victoria are of the more recently described C. gormani; temperate.
