Diagnosis

Large species. Prosternal furrow without pile. Sternpleuron bare with a few whitish setae above. Fore femur as in montanus. Middle femur with several pv macrosetae at middle; pd absent, or 1 pd macroseta present. Ventral pille of hind femur includes whitish or blackish setae at least as long as half femoral width. Gonostyle with evenly concave dorsal margin; distiphallus cut-off apically, spiny on dorsal surface. Female S8 with pile restricted to area around depression.
