Moulds), QLD: Archer River, Cape York Peninsula [13.417°S, 142.833°E]; ANIC MEI129089 immature adult with pupal skin (collected larva 15.xii.1991, pupated 21.ii.1992, emerged 2.iii.1992, M.E. Irwin), QLD: 1 km W Buchan Point [16.733°S, 145.683°E]; AM adult (31.xii.1989), QLD: 24 km N Einasleigh; BPBM adult (Aug 1920), QLD: Prince of Wales Island; UIMNH adult (26.xi.1995 {in Mike Irwin collection}), QLD: Carnarvon National Park, Mount Moffatt Section.

Diagnosis

Similar to previous species with strong frontal setae, a markedly designed mesonotum, and pitch black legs; but frons with a shiny black midstripe and male abdomen not brownish, but patterned in black and white-grey.
