Diagnosis

Medium-sized species. Prosternal furrow with pile. Sternopleuron without any pile. Costal setae biserially arranged, but often with a few extra setae on dorsal surface. Ventral pile of hind femur with setae half as long as femoral width. All femora entirely yellowish. In the male, the straight and heavily built distiphallus is easily observed without dissection; gonocoxal process with a dorsal thorn.
