Diagnosis
Small species. Prosternal furrow and sternopleuron without pilosity. Costal setae biserial. Fore femur with only some pd macrosetae; middle femur with 1 pd and 1 pv. Femora largely yellow-brown, fore femur grey-black in basal third, other femora only blackened at extreme base. Male easily recognised among all known Australian Anabarhynchus species on the postero-ventral projections to the gonocoxites.
