Diagnosis
As in decipiens, hind tibia with a comb of anterodorsal macrosetae, but fewer setae in the comb; usually between 15 and 20. the frons is much wider than in decipiens and more or less shiny black on upper two thirds. Posterior surface of middle coxa devoid of pile. The very distinctive terminalia of both sexes are easily observable without dissection.
