Diagnosis
Medium-sized species. Fore femur entirely yellow-brown, with some infuscation of at most basal third in some specimens, without pv macrosetae in most specimens. Ventral pile of hind femur short and halteres yellow-brown as in kosciuskoensis. Only the structure of the male and female terminalia will secure a safe identification. The flight periods of these two species are also different.
