Diagnosis

Carapace subtriangular, ornamented. Zone of concrescence wide, marginal pore canals long, not branched. Small lip-like protrusion developed on antero-ventral margin. Antennula 6-segmented: first segment representing fused coxa and basis, first endopodal segment free, second and third fused, fourth, fifth and sixth segments free. No posterior setae present on En 2+3 and En5. Exopod reduced on Ex1 and Ex2 setae. Exopod of antenna consisting of plate and only 2 short setae. Male antenna without sexual bristles, claws G1 and G3 reduced, z1 and z2 setae transformed into long claws. Mandibular vibratory plate with several long rays, palp 4-segmented, 3+2 setae on second segment, terminal segment noticeably square-shaped and with 2 prominent claws — central claw fused with segment. Terminal segment of maxillular palp prominent: 2 times longer than wider. Prehensile palps robust and hook-like. Basal segment of second thoracopod without any seta, endopod 4-segmented. Third thoracopod with all 3 basal setae present, appendage 5-segmented, Te seta absent, terminal segment with 2 short and 1 long seta. Caudal ramus without posterior seta, both claws well developed. Lobe b most prominent on hemipenis, with 1 dorsal tubular process, lobe a modest, lobe h absent, part g well inside hemipenis body, no internal coils. Zenker's organ with 5+2 rows of spines, proximal part very robust, balloon-like.
