   Neotype ANIC MEI029931 ♂ (28.xii.1977, E.I. Schlinger, 1400m), NSW: Kosciusko NP, Round Mountain, Olgives Creek [-35.682°, 149.533°]
  Comment: The original holotype data is as follows:- ♂ collected in Sydney, NSW and held at Universität von Hamburg Zoologisches Institut und Zoologisches Museum. As it was apparently destroyed, the Neotype was designated by Winterton in 2011.

Diagnosis

Antennae yellow basally, dark distally, scape and pedicel thicker than in other species; occiput glossy black; fore and mid femora yellow, hind femur black; male abdomen with extensive, siver velutum.
