Ecological Descriptors

Adult: phloem feeder.

Extra Ecological Information

Nymph might be phloem feeder or fungivore.

 

Diagnosis

Head and thorax brownish medially with conspicuous longitudinal yellowish stripe; tegmen with irregular inconspicuous brownish markings along fore margin between pterostigma and apex of tegmen as well as along hind margin at apex of clavus and posterior Cu branch; apical cells of tegmen weakly infuscate posteriorly; legs yellowish brown, without any conspicuous markings; compound eyes well developed; frons about twice as long as its greatest width; pronotum 1.3 x as wide as maximum width of head (incl. eyes) and 7.5 x as wide as anterior margin of vertex; tegmen 2.7 x as long as wide; hind tibiae laterally with 2 spines; caudal margin of genital segment with a short stout protuberance at each lateroapical angle; ventral margin of anal tube with paired acute lateroventral processes. Length ♂ 7.3–-8.2 mm, ♀ 7.9–8.1 mm. Length of tegmen ♂ 6.2–7.0 mm, ♀ 6.9–7.1 mm. (Hoch & Howarth 1989)
