Introduction

This epigean species is only known from two specimens from the type locality which is a little north of Brisbane in SE Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors

Adult: phloem feeder.

Extra Ecological Information

Nymph might be phloem feeder or fungivore.

 

Diagnosis

Compound eyes well developed; head and thorax brownish medially with conspicuous longitudinal yellowish stripe; tegmina without markings but crossveins darker than longitudinal veins. Legs yellowish, coxae of forelegs darkened in their distal portion. Frons 1.8 x as long as its greatest width. Pronotum 1.3 x as wide as maximum width of head and 7.7 x as wide as anterior margin of vertex. Hind tibiae laterally with 1-2 tiny spines; caudal margin of genital segment smooth, without more or less acute protuberances; genital styles in lateral aspect apically with acute spine-like process.
