Diagnosis
Carapace subtriangular, anterior and posterior margins subequally wide, left valve slightly larger than right valve; valve surface smooth. Inner lamellae broad with broad anterior and posterior vestibules; marginal pore canals numerous and branched, normal pore canals scattered, simple. Antennula 7-segmented with stout terminal claws. Antenna with reduced swimming setae. Two posterior setae on caudal ramus. Zenker's organ with 5 whorls of spines.
