- Tandanus bostocki Whitley, G.P. 1944. New sharks and fishes from Western Australia. The Australian Zoologist 10(3): 252-273 figs 1-6 [260] [some regard this as a replacement for Plotosus unicolor Castelnau, 1873, but Whitley, G.P. 1948 illustrates the labelled type of Tandanus bostocki based on specimen from Serpentine, in WAM].
