Marion Plateau (18°53'S, 150°25'E), QLD, and NW of Strahan, TAS (41°52'S, 144°24'E) to NW of Exmouth, WA (20°55'S, 112°52'E), possibly continuous along the east coast; tropical, temperate, circumglobal except the eastern North Pacific.
