Arafura Sea north of Tiwi Islands (9°45'S, 130°14'E), and northeast of Townsville, QLD (18°11'S, 147°26'E) to southeast of Lakes Entrance, VIC (38°24'S, 148°35'E), also west of Lihou Reef, Coral Sea (17°01'S, 151°02'E); temperate.
