Genus Squamopygia Kröber, 1928

Introduction

Closely related to Ectinorhynchus, this genus is only known from a few specimens from tropical Northern Queensland and Papua New Guinea. An undescribed species is known from Papua New Guinea.

Diagnosis

Antennae elongate; frons flat, single row of postocular setae in male; cell m3 open; hind femur with anteroventral apical seta; velutum patches absent on fore and hind femora and gonocoxites; gonocoxites without medial atrium; distiphallus narrowly tapering; spermathecal sac trilobate; three spermathecae.
