Scattered locations in QLD including Cairns area from Clifton Beach (16°46'S, 145°40'E) to south of Innisfail (17°37'S, 145°59'E) including the Barron, Mulgrave, Russell and Johnstone Rivers, the Atherton Tablelands near Dimbulah in the upper reaches of the Walsh River (ca. 17°09'S, 145°07'E) and possibly Ross River, Townsville (19°19'S, 146°45'E), also Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra, ACT (35°18 149°08), and the Hazelwood power station cooling pondage and adjacent Eel Creek, Morwell, VIC (38°17'S, 146°24'E); tropical.
