Locker Island, west of Onslow, WA (21º43´S, 114°45'E) to Moreton Bay, QLD (27°13´S, 153°07), also Cartier Island, Timor Sea (12°31`S, 123°33'E) and Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Indian Ocean; tropical, Indo-west Pacific.
