- Callionymus leucobranchialis Fowler, H.W. 1941. New fishes of the family Callionymidae, mostly Philippine, obtained by the United States Bureau of Fisheries Steamer Albatross. Proceedings of the United States National Museum 90(3106): 1-31 figs 1-16 [19, figs 12-13].
Type data:
Holotype USNM 99393, San Fernando Point Light, west coast of Luzon Island, Philippines [16°30'36"N, 120°11'06"E].
