Extra Distribution Information
Upper reaches of Fortescue River, NW of Newman, WA (23º09'S, 120º04"E), Brisbane (27º26'S) and Hervey Bay (25º17'S), QLD, also recorded from Majors Creek, south of Townsville and east of Darwin, NT, however current status of these populations is unknown; tropical.
Introduced from North America, via aquarium trade.
