Coastal rivers from upper Burnett River, QLD (25°17'S) to Wilsons Promontory, VIC (38°54'S), and Murray River from Albury (146°55'E) to near Victor Harbour, SA (138°37'E). Records north of Brisbane, QLD and from rivers draining to the west of the Great Dividing Range in NSW may represent different species; temperate
