Extra Distribution Information

Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea (12°15'S) and Osprey Reef, Coral Sea (13°56'S) to Capricorn Group, QLD (23°30'S); tropical, west Pacific. The distribution of this species is uncertain due to the misidentification of three other species of Pervagor as P. melanocephalus
