Diagnosis

Carapace robust, smooth, elongate posteriorly, broadly rounded anteriorly. Inner calcified lamella broad, zone of fusion broad with numerous irregularly branched radial pore canals. Third and fourth segments of antennula may be fused. Penultimate segment of third thoracopod subdivided. Caudal ramus with 2 posterior setae.
