Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Allocasuarina distyla (Vent.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Black Sheoak (on foliage); Chrysopogon fallax S.T.Blake [POACEAE] Golden-beard Grass (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: root-feeder.

Extra Ecological Information

Bellamy (1988) recorded adults of this species feeding on grass flowers.
